What support will students receive?

South Bank Engineering UTC is designed to be smaller than the traditional school, with no more than 150 in any year group at any time. Our small size allows us to offer high quality and personalised support for all of our students. We have a great deal of diversity in our student body and will derive strength from this diversity. We recognise that our diversity brings with it a range of needs, which we are fully prepared to support.

We offer more teaching than traditional schools, with mentoring from staff from London South Bank University and industry co-sponsors built into our curriculum, both from UTC staff and from our employer partners. We make sure all of our students are able to benefit from our structured pastoral programme that is constructed around the needs of each cohort, with, for example, advice and workshops designed to support students in writing their personal statements before applying to university.

Our small size will allow us to offer high quality and personalised support for all of our students.
