Results

In summer 2021 traditional examinations continued to be suspended for the second time, these were replaced with a system of centre assessment and exam board moderation. Robust systems were adhered to in the award of our 2021 and we are pleased to say that all exam board moderation was completed without amendment to any student grade. The results awarded continue to be strong and have enabled our students to continue with the journey towards personal and professional success.

Results from this summer will not be published nationally for comparison but a brief overview of our results is published below.

We are pleased to provide the following GCSE English and Mathematics results:

We are pleased to provide the following notable Yr13 results:

We are very proud of the destinations secured by our Year 13 cohorts with over 80% securing a place at University, 10% an apprenticeship and 10% joining a Year 14 HNC Engineering offered at the UTC.

We are delighted with the destinations secured by our students which includes top universities such as Queen Mary’s, Brunel, Reading and our very own LSBU. We are also very pleased to be running our pioneering Yr14 HNC Engineering course here at the UTC again this year. It offers our engineering students the chance to achieve an industry-recognised qualification that is the equivalent of the first year at University.
